American Beauty Doll by Shirley Peck - Little Boy with Blue Outfit - 17" Felt
This is a very cute, all felt little boy doll by American Beauty Dolls; doll artist Shirley Peck in 1983. He is 17" tall with hand painted face and blonde wig. His arms and legs move. He looks like he may be Little Boy Blue but there are no papers or hangtag to identify him for sure. I will include the stand.
What is wrong with him:
The blue felt has faded uniformly but you can see clearly under the arms or between the legs or inside the coat. There is a yellow spot on the back of the pants and the socks seem yellowed. I did not try to clean the spot because I did not want to mess up the felt. There is a button missing on the front coat, the hat is missing, and the shoes look like they have been replaced.
