My husband, who is the original owner of this ball skipped school in 1992 to go to the Philadelphia Phillies Opening Day against the Chicago Cubs. He got there early to watch batting practice and picked this ball up. He then proceeded to ask the Cubs players for signatures. Included on the baseball are signatures from Greg Maddux, Andre Dawson, Heathcliff Slocumb and the then commissioner of baseball Bill White.
