The color is a pale green (byakuroku) tinged with a light red (tankou), reminiscent of night cherry blossoms and aurora, a fantastical work of art.
I had a kimono fabric made to order that would match the cherry blossom-patterned obi I have listed separately, but I haven't had many opportunities to wear it for work other than a formal kimono, so I'm putting it up for sale.
I also had the lining dyed separately to match this fabric, so I will include it as a set.
It is made of the finest silk crepe from Ito-幸, a long-established Kyoto company.
