This is a mini car of the prototype of the New Beetle, the VW CONCEPT 1. I haven't seen it anywhere else, so I believe it is quite rare.
I received this as a souvenir from Germany about 27 years ago. Since it was given to me through a connection I had at the time related to importing car accessories, it may be a sample stage item. The original outer box was not included.
The plastic cover has some dullness, minor scratches, and discoloration from tape.
I will pass it on to someone who is satisfied with its current condition.
